Overview
Our Part-Time Qurʾān Memorisation course is a focused program designed to cater to the individual needs and abilities of each student. Instruction is delivered in a one-on-one class setting, allowing students to progress at their own pace.
Students begin with the fundamentals of letter recognition and correct pronunciation where required, progressing through the theory and practical application of tajwīd. Emphasis is placed on achieving fluent and accurate recitation prior to memorisation. The course caters to all levels, from beginners learning the Arabic alphabet to students actively memorising.
Competency in tajwīd, as assessed by the teachers, is a prerequisite for commencing memorisation.
This is a dedicated Qurʾān course conducted two days per week, with only a short portion of each class allocated to reminders and religious obligations. Other course options are available via Courses.
Further Details
This program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence required to recite the Qurʾān fluently with proper tajwīd before proceeding to memorisation. The course is ideal for self-motivated students who are keen to memorise a portion of the Qurʾān and who wish to develop the discipline and skills necessary to maintain and retain their memorisation.
