The Learn to Read, Memorise & Ijāzah in Qurʾān program is a comprehensive, year-long Qurʾān course designed to cater to the individual needs and abilities of each student. Instruction is delivered in a one-on-one class setting, allowing students to progress at their own pace under close supervision.
Students begin with the fundamentals of Arabic letter recognition and correct pronunciation where required, progressing through the theory and practical application of tajwīd. Strong emphasis is placed on achieving fluent and accurate recitation before advancing to memorisation. The course caters to all ages and all levels, from complete beginners learning the Arabic alphabet to advanced students seeking Ijāzah in the Qurʾān.
Competency in tajwīd, as assessed by the teacher, is a prerequisite for commencing memorisation.
This is a dedicated Qurʾān programme conducted Monday to Friday, with the majority of class time focused on recitation, tajwīd, memorisation, and revision.

This program equips students with the knowledge, skills and discipline required to recite the Qurʾān fluently with proper tajwīd before progressing to memorisation and, where applicable, the pursuit of Ijāzah. Students memorise according to their individual capacity and goals, under the guidance of an experienced and qualified teacher.
The course is ideal for students seeking consistent daily engagement with the Qurʾān, whether their aim is to establish strong reading foundations, memorise selected portions or the entire Qurʾān or complete formal certification (Ijāzah).

- Recitation & Tajwīd Instruction – For students requiring foundational or remedial instruction, determined by the teacher at the outset and reviewed throughout the course.
- Memorisation & Ijāzah Pathway – Begins once students demonstrate satisfactory fluency and accuracy in recitation with tajwīd.

- Days & Time: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 8:30am
- Term Duration: 10 weeks
- Class Dates: Every weekday, starting Tuesday 27/01 until Friday 03/04 excluding days of Eid

- Safar Qāʿidah Complete (Beginners)
- Safar Rules of Tajwīd (Intermediate)
- Qurʾān muṣḥaf (Advanced)
Safar books are available for purchase at the College for $20 each. Advanced students undertaking memorisation are expected to bring their own muṣḥaf.
- Fees: $35 per week (course fees are non-refundable)
*If minimum registration numbers are not met, the class may be cancelled or merged with another class on a different day.
